iPhone and iPad are quick because everything you need is in the App Store and the clipboard works — you paste three fields from your activation email instead of typing them with a remote. Four minutes covers it comfortably.

Two honest notes before you start. Good iOS players are paid apps, usually a few dollars once, and that money goes to their developer rather than to us. Step by step

Installing on iPhone or iPad

Open your activation email on the same device. You will be copying from it as you go.

    Install IBO Player Pro or IPTV Smarters

    Search the App Store for IBO Player Pro (recommended, paid, with a 7-day free trial from the developer) or the free option — IPTV Smarters Expert 4K or Smarters Player Lite. Apple does not permit sideloading, so the App Store is the only route — and that is a good thing here.

    Add the login: Xtream Codes for Smarters, MAC/M3U for IBO

    In IPTV Smarters, choose Login with Xtream Codes API and enter the server URL, username and password from your email, then Add user. In IBO Player Pro, note the MAC address/device key it shows and add the M3U URL from your welcome email.

    Tip · If the app calls it API login or Server login, that is the same thing. M3U alone is the one to avoid unless the app offers nothing else.

    Paste the server URL, username and password

    Copy each field straight from the email. Keep the http:// prefix and the port number if there is one — a dropped port is the usual reason a login fails.

    Tip · Long-press to paste rather than retyping. iOS sometimes appends a space to a copied field, so check the end of each one.

    Let it sync, then build favorites

    The first load indexes 54,000+ channels and 219,577 on-demand titles, which takes 30 to 90 seconds. After that the app opens instantly from cache.

    Tip · A phone screen is the worst possible place to scroll a full channel list. Ten minutes spent on favorites now saves hours later.

    Put it on the TV if you want to

    AirPlay to an Apple TV or an AirPlay-capable set, or use a USB-C or Lightning to HDMI adapter for a direct wired feed.

    Tip · AirPlay re-encodes the stream and adds a second or two of lag. A cheap HDMI adapter is steadier, and it does not tie up your Wi-Fi.

    Watch your data if you leave the house

    On Wi-Fi, nothing to think about. On cellular, a 4K stream runs near 25 Mbps, which is roughly 11 GB an hour, and FHD is closer to 4.5 GB.

    Tip · Most players let you cap quality per network. Set the cellular cap to HD and you can leave the app running without watching the meter.

Most common snag

It plays on Wi-Fi but not on cellular

iCloud Private Relay is the usual culprit. When it is on, iOS routes traffic through Apple relays and some carriers then break the connection to an IPTV server, which produces a player that works perfectly at home and refuses to load on mobile data. Settings → your name → iCloud → Private Relay, and turn it off for the cellular network, or disable it for that Wi-Fi network under the network's Details screen. The same test applies to any VPN — turn it off once to see whether the problem follows it.

Is there a free iOS player?
There are free ones, and most are worse than the paid ones by enough to matter — slower channel switching, weaker EPG handling, ads over live TV. Capable iOS players usually charge a one-off few dollars to their developer. We take none of that and it makes no difference to your subscription. Support can name what is currently good on WhatsApp.
Can I watch on my iPhone while someone watches the TV?
Yes, provided your plan has two or more connections. A connection is one device streaming at one moment, not one device installed. Install on every iPhone and iPad you own; support can add a connection mid-subscription if you find one is not enough.
Does it work over 5G?
It does, and the speed is rarely the issue — data volume is. A 4K stream costs roughly 11 GB an hour on cellular. Cap the player quality on mobile data unless your plan is genuinely unlimited, and note that many so-called unlimited plans throttle video anyway.
AirPlay keeps stuttering. Is that the stream?
Usually not. AirPlay decodes the stream on the phone, re-encodes it, and sends it across your Wi-Fi a second time, so it doubles the wireless load and adds latency. A USB-C or Lightning HDMI adapter avoids all of that. If you want a permanent TV setup, an Apple TV running the player natively is better than AirPlay in every respect.
