A box with a weak Wi-Fi chip can bottleneck an otherwise fast internet plan, so the router speed test alone doesn't tell you the full story.

Hide the channel groups you don't watch inside the app's settings before assuming the box itself is the problem. That single change is a genuine fix for a list-size ceiling, since it reduces what the app has to hold in memory at once, not just what you see. Set the player's buffer setting low rather than high, and switch your DNS to a public resolver if channel loading feels slow across the board rather than on one group only. A post-update regression is also worth ruling out: if the slowdown started right after an app or firmware update, that's a distinct cause from a hardware ceiling and often resolves with the next update.
