Some services label a channel 4K when the source feed was never actually captured or upscaled properly, which is a labeling problem rather than a bandwidth one. Others genuinely stream at 4K but throttle the bitrate under load, which looks identical to a slow connection from your end even though nothing on your side has changed. The way to tell the difference is consistency: if the same channel looks sharp late at night and soft during peak hours, the server is the variable, not your line, and no router setting will fix that. A catalog with real, stated specs beats a label with none attached to it.
